 WEE MUSICIANS

A high-quality music program is a major incentive for parents when choosing the best daycare or school for their child.

Wee Musicians is a fully customizable, developmentally rich music program designed specifically for kindergarten, preschool and early-childhood classrooms.

I tailor each visit to your school’s schedule, curriculum, and unique community — offering a warm, engaging music experience that children love.

THE MUSIC

Wee Musicians centers around timeless folk music from around the world — songs children have loved, sung, and moved to for hundreds of years.

When choosing music, I look for songs that:

  • Have a singable, catchy melody that children can learn quickly

  • Have stood the test of time

  • Expose children to different cultures, tonalities, and rhythms

Because of this, your students will occasionally sing in other languages — a wonderful brain booster and a fun way to connect with global music traditions.

If your preschool has songs required by your curriculum, I am happy to incorporate them creatively into our music time. For faith-based schools, I can also use Christian and Scripture-based songs.

In every class we SING, we MOVE, and we PLAY — because the best learning happens through joyful, hands-on exploration.

F. A. Q.

What does a typical class include?

A typical Wee Musicians class includes:

  • Engaging, high-participation singing

  • Fine & gross motor movement activities

  • Rhythm and steady-beat exercises

  • A designated “jam time” with different instruments

  • A welcome and goodbye song to create structure and routine

How long are classes?

Each music session lasts approximately 20-30 minutes, depending on what your school needs.

What ages do you teach?

Wee Musicians is designed for ages 2 and up, with flexible lesson plans that adapt to each age group through kindergarten.

Are instruments involved?

Yes! We frequently use rhythm sticks, egg shakers, scarves, and other early-childhood instruments. I am also a violin teacher and will occasionally bring my violin to class for live demonstrations and exposure.
